I liked the story, but at the end it says their story continues in “A Lush Kiss of Surrender”. But, after searching for it, and reading other reviews, it’s obvious that she never finished the story, but instead, just went onto the next one. An author just can’t stop in the middle of a book, say there is another one, then the reader finds it doesn’t exist and expect readers to read more. I’m sorry, but this was a real disappointment, so I won’t read anything else in this series. I don’t know about the rest of the series, but it had real potential. I rarely right mediocre reviews, but with this, there just wasn’t a chance.

The main problem with the story was the characters. They weren’t well developed. Their stories were cliche, and the main characters were like teenagers together. Eye rolling. The belief that either of these characters would ever have a one night stand is the most paranormal thing about the book. Speaking of... Paranormal is good, but when you have the Justice League of monsters, it comes off more like a Saturday morning cartoon than an interesting story. Do vampires or lycans or witches, not every paranormal you’ve ever imagined. The sex scenes were basic with no build up or imagination, but I guess that’s explained by the dimensionless leads. Let’s not tell them that their sex lives leave something to be desired, it’s the best they’ve ever had.

I’d give it 3.5. It has an intriguing plot and an enjoyable story.

Raze handsome vampire the law enforcers. His loyalty to his jobs and believes justice however doing the job over and over become repetitious. He never thought that something was missing in his life. That is, he meet Kim at a bar!! Smart, sexy and confident who also looking for something as well. Perfect puzzle wanting and loving someone.

Nicely written. Creative fun and tantalizing.

I've read a lot better from this Author. But good enough that I was curious and wanted to finish reading about these characters. However, the next book regarding these characters isn't out and appears to be delayed. I don't want to get invested in the series if its just going to leave me hanging for years. Whats also annoying is the mention of this book being a stand alone book when there obviously is no ending. Good luck not loosing your fan base for this series.

Intriguing & beguiling storyline

I can't wait for the rest of the book. It takes you and let's you feel and become the characters while looking through the pages like a mirror just looking deep into a world.

It was really good.. wish it would of ended diffently though.. wanted the kim and raze “thing” to develop a bit more..

This book was captivating and intriguing. It kept my interest throughout. Each page was a tingling sensation of anticipation. I recommend this book to all women over 21 who like to imagine love in the netherworld!
