No More Mnemonics, Student Bass Clef Book is a simplified Concept for teaching note reading in the Bass Clef. This book is for students of all ages! The faces® Concept is a great tool to prepare students for elementary school, college or attending school at a music conservatory. Students are taught their family genealogy, A-G of their ABC's, rhythm (how to count), CHUNKS of notes (Chords), and colors, simultaneously. Rather than starting on "Middle C," we start at the beginning of the piano with "A". The first Chord we learn "immediately" is Great Grandfather's "ACE" (a min Chord). Students are taught to read and write the " male family faces" (low notes to the left of the keyboard). Instead of teaching one note at a time, music is taught from a much broader perspective which helps prepare the student to read and write notes for any musical instrument.
