After reading this book one will feel that they got to know a true genius, and embrace the humility even of the biggest giants.
It has all the depth that Isaacson’s biography lacked

It is a genuine and intimate portrait, rather than a rehash of the caricatures and one-story rehashes of any other bio. It captures a -person- that was remarkable, not just the (many) remarkable things he said or did.
Picking up this book right after 10 years

10 years ago, I was in middle school. His official biography was the first english book I ever finished reading. 10 years later, right before I graduate from grad school and join Apple, I finished this book. Thank you, Steve. You have always been my motivation.
Much better than Walter Isaacson’s book

This book gives you a much more complete look into Steve and the personal growth that made him into who he was in the last 15 years of his life. I rarely finish books but this one I read cover to cover. Writing this from my iPad Pro. It’s a magical device. The 10 year anniversary of Steve’s death is coming up soon. I wonder what apple will do now. They’ve been essentially just executing against the vision Steve set, for the last decade. They are approaching a phase in the life of the company where all the products that were conceptualized during the Steve era have been fully matured. Can they innovate and disrupt once more? Going to be very interesting.
Great Book

Much has been written about Steve but nothing has been written with the warmth, insight, and understanding of this work.

This is the best book written about Steve, his life, his strengths and weaknesses. As an employee I witnessed some of the good and a little of the bad. On the grand scale Steve was a good guy, great leader and fantastic visionary. I highly recommend this read.
Way better then the new Jobs book

Loved this book on Steve Jobs. It has so much more depth then the issaacson book I read last year. It made Jobs out to be human after all. Great read.

Well balanced, honest, well told, just simply a fantastic book about a fantastic man. A must-read for anyone who is a fan of Mr. Jobs and/or Apple, Inc. Very inspirational, too.
Best read in years

After reading a number of articles and books about Steve Jobs, like many people, I thought the book, "Steve Jobs," would be the final chapter. While I respect Isaacson's authorized version, this book, "Becoming Steve Jobs" completes the story. I actually worked for Apple when Steve first came back, and it will truly be something I will treasure forever.
Thank you for this outstanding, inside and honest piece of the life of one of history's most brilliant minds, and then greatest second act in the history of corporate America. Someday, I hope to come back to Apple, and help change the world.
This book captures that spirit and the understanding of the man who helped us all see the future in a better way.
