The subject of horror movies and campfire stories, demonic possession is rarely given any real weight in the modern Western mind due to its inherent spectacle. This book, hopefully, will convince the reader of the gravity and reality of real spiritual activity with malicious intent the likes to which we have never given appropriate credence.
Five cases are presented with documented occurrences and witness verifications of men and women who were possessed of an evil spirit. Their stories are told in full regarding the relevance of life situations and belief systems that opened their wills and hearts to their specific cases of possession. The accounts of demonic control and influence is also presented along with the church-sanctioned exorcists' accounts of the subsequent exorcisms. Very little is edited down for the sensitive of mind. Descriptions of what these possessed individuals did and said are full on board.
There is much here that is politically incorrect, and were this discussed in public forums, the author would be soundly lambasted for his intolerance. Thankfully, it hasn't silenced him. This is a warning bell for this latest generation and its fascination with the supernatural and the occult. Teens infatuated with Twilight, Harry Potter and the like -- to the point of mimicking the mock occultic ritualism within those books -- can readily open themselves to real demonic influence unawares.
If you take this subject seriously, read this book. If you're mildly interested in the spiritual dynamics of our current world, read this book. If you simply want a thrilling account (5 actually) of demonic possession, read this book -- maybe it'll scare some sense into you.
Rated 4 stars only due to the graphic nature of the accounts. Not everyone can handle what's written here.
