Well written but the male protagonist’s revenge for his wife’s youthful scheming seems overly harsh and includes—uncomfortably for this reader—emotional abuse and non-consensual sex.

Mrs Thomas' writing is fabulous. The story was very well written. Her characters were just wonderful!
