This book is a good look at how not dealing with grief can ruin your life and happiness. But in the end, love triumphants over all! HEA

So predictable. After you read the first one in the series they all have the same structure. They are easy and quick to read and the characters are likable but it’s just the same old song and dance.

4.5 Stars  This is book 2 in The Kingston Family series and it features Chloe Kingston and Beckett Daniels. She’s got a lot to figure out now that her life isn’t going exactly like she planned.  She’s got this gorgeous, sexy man who has come to her rescue after she was left at the alter.  Can she have a “just for fun” good time with Beck while she puts her life back together?   Fabulous story line with awesome characters!  This is a shorter than normal book but the story was fantastically complete with no holes in anybody’s thread. I can’t wait to read the next book in this family drama filled, sexy series!

The second book in the Kingston Family series was wonderful. Beck and Chloe hit it off in the lowest point of Chloes life. Beck was there for her after being left at the alter and saved her when she was drunk. Chloe’s brother thinks it was to get back at him since they have history between them. Seeing them go from friendship to trust and love was sexy and I could not put the book down. Waiting for her brothers, Xander and Dash’s books! Carly Phillips never disappoints. Even if you haven’t read Lincs book this is a stand-alone but I highly recommend reading every book from Carly Phillips. This book was so good. Carly Phillips books always provide you with great characters, awesome plots and happily ever afters. Looking forward to the next in this series.
