This book was very descriptive and well written. However, I do find that the end was very underwhelming. I would have liked to see more details. I definitely am interested in reading more of the Gina Harte series. Lots of interesting plot twists!

I DEVOURED this book. I finished in it about 8 hours and woke up early to finish it before work. It was great. The dialogue was good, the characters were good, the crime was good. The end petered out a bit but knowing it’s a series made that a ok for me!

I wanted to see Luke and Debbie reunion

Good, pretty well written, intense novel

The story was intense and captivated me. I did not want to stop reading. It was very well written and realistic. I didn’t want the story to end.

This book kept me up at night trying to figure out the next thing. I only wish it had gone a bit more into the family’s life after the victim was found.

A bit too gruesome. A bit too long. Enjoyed the multigenerational interaction and the camaraderie

I was hooked after reading the first few pages!! I loved the writing style and descriptive language used to capture the world. I could not put it down until I knew what happened. And boy was it rewarding! Definitely a must read. Onto the next adventures of DI Harte!

I only read thrillers and am used to creepy storylines but this was just disturbing most of the time and depressing.

Less of a mystery and more of a police procedural. It’s about a woman who’s been abducted for 4 years and the police woman who is charged with finding her. It was an ok read but I wouldn’t read it again.
