Fast paced and easy to read and follow. The more you read the better it gets . Koontz has written another nail biter and I enjoyed it immensely

Plodding story and only until the last chapter did I finally become interested in the main character. I like Dean Koontz but not this one.

Loved it! So glad that I started this series. Such an intelligent and thought provoking character. As usual Mr. Koontz is a touch too elaborately descriptive but that’s ok, I missed reading him. Haven’t since the last Odd Thomas broke my heart.

Dean Koontz outdid himself in the Jane Hawk series. Eerily plausible, frighteningly gripping, this exposes the underbelly of a society that could very well be our own, and a hero we can love.

Not what I was expecting. A smart protagonist with Reacher-like drive and focus. I enjoyed how the character was presented. A few convenient plot coincidences may have stretched the believability factor a bit, but a fun read overall. Moves along at a fast pace.

Great read and closer to reality than you may want to believe.

i understand that dean koontz is a literary legend but this prose is so dense that you could take excerpts of this book and piece together a short story called "every thought dean koontz has ever had about the way clouds look" and it would still make me fall asleep a little slower than this did

Maybe it’s just me and my lack of comprehension, but I feel as though I was dropped into an already ongoing storyline, and then plucked back out of it when the author got tired of writing. Many plot holes and unresolved questions abound.
